UNINTERRUPTED: More Than Just A Brand

It is important to understand that athletes are people too. It is very easy to get caught up in the statistics and sometimes the game overshadows the players. I just wanted to shine a spotlight on a brand that I believe is doing amazing things and will continue to do so in the future.


Empowerment. Confidence. Authenticity. These are three words that describe UNINTERRUPTED and what the brand stands for. This brand was created to allow athletes to freely express themselves on their own terms. LeBron James, along with Maverick Carter utilize social media as the brand’s primary medium to share athletes stories and engage with fans. UNINTERRUPTED posts vary from merchandise promotions to short videos featuring different athletes. They also engage their followers with “Athlete Question of the Week” on Instagram. The brand allows fans to “get to know” the person whose jersey they’re willing to rock on any given day.


UNINTERRUPTED has partnered with Nike as well as various athletes to show that they are More Than An Athlete.This campaign has allowed players to speak up and bring attention to the numerous societal issues that we are faced with. The campaign also allows these athletes to explore their fashion sense and freely get their points across.


To many, UNINTERRUPTED is more than just a brand. It’s a way of life. It stands for freedom of expression, among many other ideas. This brand gives us insight into the many dimensions of some of the people that we idolize.
